Klima
The Bohemia forest (Sumava) is the largest natural park in Bohemia. This forest has been named a “biosphere reservation” by UNESCO. This area is ideal for summer holidays as well as winter ski breaks. Many pathways are good for hiking and seeing the local flora and fauna. Other attractive trips are to the Boubinsky virgin forest with trees 300 to 400 years old, the Schwarzenberg ridge 44 km long or the glacial Bohemian forest lakes. At the Tachov museum, craftsmen demonstrate how to make local products (wood sculptures, pearls etc). In Pilsen, you must taste the famous Pils beer and visit the brasserie museum.
